Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values firm to higher on moderate to good demand and light to 
moderate offerings. Select and Choice chuck and loin cuts steady to firm while 
round cuts firm to higher. Choice rib cuts firm while Select weak. Beef 
trimmings mostly moderately to sharply higher on good demand and moderate 
offerings.

Prices are 8 cents higher for Extra Large and Large, 4 cents higher for Medium
eggs. The undertone is higher. Supplies vary and are light to moderate. The New
York shell egg inventory is about the same as a week ago. Current offerings are
light. Demand into all channels is fairly good to good. Market activity is
moderate to active.
